We are pleased to announce our “Member of the Quarter” for the 4th quarter of 2009. This member has displayed a loyalty and dedication to the linkshell, and those in it, that has been the model for what we wish to see from all of our Lamp Lovers. It was a tough decision to make, as everyone has truly given it their all, but the officers came to a decision.

Kirin!

It’s been a long time coming, and this past Tuesday, we finally took on our first Kirin. How did we do? You’re going to have to read on to find out!

Delayed Start!

Initially, things got off..erm..well, things didn’t get off at all. A lot of late-comers resulted in a start that was much later than we anticipated. Due to that, we had to limit our fun to just one Kirin. That means next week, you are going to see yet another Kirin report!

Battle Start!

After all the waiting, we finally got going, and although initially there was quite a bit of confusion + some deaths while dealing with the other Gods, it was smooth sailing from then on.

Very much a team effort by everyone to make things go so well, but a big part of what made the Kirin battle go so well was the kiting done by Isacc. Many attempts by Kirin to get off Stonega IV were thwarted by his ability to get away quickly, and hold hate, even with Rebwolf there, and his signature wreckless nuking, lol.

And yes, Ria did go HQ on the W. Legs.

Cat Attack #1

A smooth and silky fight, but seriously lacking on drops:

Cat Attack #2 – More Safari, Less Cat

FULL DROPS! Now that’s more like it. Even with a PLD dropping here or there, this makes it all feel better.

Yet another nice set of drops, and 2/3 on Haidate drops for the night. Not too shabby!

A second Proto-Omega in a week! A great showing for our late-night Thursday (Pacific Time) run, and although at one point Matito hit the dirt, the run was otherwise smooth, smooth, SMOOTH!

Last night, a group of Lamp Lovers went out to Pso’Xja to visit our friend, the Golden-Tongued Culberry, to get some Uggalepih Pendants. A big special thanks goes out to Bossco for supplying the HQ and NQ items for the pops.

Lovin’ The Lamps Report #3

We’re back with a new update, and we got a bit more than a Nyzul run to speak of.

But First, Nyzul Isle!

This weeks Nyzul Isle trip turned out to be quite a lucrative one, as 3 body pieces were won.
・Goliard Saio – Rianon, Serpical
・Askar Body – Dylorian

Also the week prior Matito won some new shoes.
・Denali Gemashes – Matito

SKY, SKY, SKY

We’ve been up to the usual shenanigans of lots of farming for God pops, and actually fighting the buggers as well.

Congratulations to Rebwolf for getting some Byakko’s Haidate.

Other stuffs have been won up in Tu’Lia, but a majority of them actually ended up being freelot, so I’m not sure what they were, lol. Enna will fill this in at some point. He is the leader after all.

Other Personal Wins

Congratulations to Matito, yet again, on obtaining a Beast Slayer and a +1 Magus Jubbah.

Bubbo got some piratey goodness by obtain +1 COR boots

A new update. Whoo-hoo! And it’s another small one.

Off To Nyzul Isle

Recently, after our usual Monday night Limbus runs, we’ve started up doing some Nyzul Isle runs to try and catch up the needs of those who could really use some Askar / Denali / Goliard gears.

So last Monday, Ennayram, Dylorian, Rianon, Matito, Serpical, and Bubbo rolled out to the depths of Nyzul, and hit up some level 20 fights.

The fruits of our labor were what you see in the little screenshot above.

What We’ve Done (October 1 – 17)

Some time has passed since this site has gone live, so I think it’s time for an update.

Well, there isn’t TOO much to discuss about things done recently, but we did do a Proto – Omega or two.

Enna Gets Stuff

Enna is in a gloating mood, as he has obtained a Supremacy Earring and a Gnadbhod’s Helm.

Cher Picks Up ZNM Boots

Cherrieanne put down Iriz Ima, and scooped up some Avocat Pigaches.

Bubbo’s Augment Goes Awry

Bubbo’s augment for her Forger’s Mantle doesn’t exactly go as she would have hoped. But hey, that AGI+1 will come in handy one day!
